Medical Esthetics
Certification
The Medical Esthetic Certificate program consists of three day-long classes covering popular esthetics treatments including:

Dermaplaning

Chemical Peel
-
Microneedling
Through hands-on training, this program gives you the tools needed to perform these treatments more confidently and effectively. Each class covers topic theory followed by a demonstration, then students perform the treatment under the supervision of the instructor.
As the medical esthetics industry becomes increasingly more competitive, staying up to date with the latest procedures and techniques is crucial for a successful career. Spas and salons are looking for professionals with advanced training beyond what is required by TDLR. ICE&M aims to provide exceptional education opportunities so students and licensed professionals can further their career.

Cost: $1000 with a $200 nonrefundable deposit
Attendance: Students must complete the three classes to earn the certificate, each class is offered once a quarter
Microneedling
Microneedling is a form of Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) which creates a controlled non-thermal injury underneath the skin surface.
Chemical Peel
This class covers common acids used in chemical peel treatments including Glycolic acid, Saliyclic acid, Lactic acid, Jessners and TCA.
Dermaplaning
Using a surgical blade the superficial layer of dead skin and the vellus hair is removed from the face leaving the skin feeling smooth and looking radiant.
Class Schedule:
Class begins with Theory, followed by instructor demonstration after lunch each student will take turns practicing each technique and being a model.

Participants will have the ability to choose from any of the available class date for microneedling, dermaplaning and chemical. After completing each class students will earn a Medical Esthetics Certification.
