Medical Esthetics Certificate

A three-part advanced training program for spa professionals

The Medical Esthetic Certificate program consists of three day-long classes covering popular esthetics treatments including:

  • Dermaplaning

  • Chemical Peel

  • Microneedling

Through hands-on training, this program gives you the tools needed to perform these treatments more confidently and effectively. Each class covers topic theory followed by a demonstration, then students perform the treatment under the supervision of the instructor.

As the medical esthetics industry becomes increasingly more competitive, staying up to date with the latest procedures and techniques is crucial for a successful career. Spas and salons are looking for professionals with advanced training beyond what is required by TDLR. ICE&M aims to provide exceptional education opportunities so students and licensed professionals can further their career.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a safe and highly effective exfoliating treatment performed by a licensed esthetician. The class begins with theory followed by a live demonstration on a model. After lunch students will pair up and perform the treatment on each other under the supervision of the instructor. The class includes lunch, a certificate upon completion and a take home kit.

Cost: $325 with a $120 non-refundable deposit, includes kit.

Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Microneedling

Microneedling is a form of Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) which creates a controlled non-thermal injury underneath the skin surface, inducing the body to respond through the formation of new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibers as well as capillary improvement through better blood supply in the treated area. The skin plumps in response to this stimulus, reducing the appearance of scars, and fine lines and other skin texture changes. The class begins with theory then after lunch there will be a live demonstration on a model. Students will pair up and perform the treatment on each other under the supervision of the instructor. The class includes lunch and a certificate upon completion.

Cost: $500 with a $120 non-refundable deposit, includes kit with numbing crème, treatment serum and 10 pen tips.
