Licensed Massage Therapist Instructor

The job of the Licensed Massage Therapist Instructor is to teach students how to be massage therapists using an existing, TDLR approved, 500 hour curriculum, and to prepare them to take the licensing exam upon completion of the course. The job requires an Instructor's License in Massage Therapy, as well as being an LMT in good standing. Ideally, you will have at least a year or two of teaching experience and delight in watching students learn and excel as a result of your energy and ability to connect in a way that fosters learning and understanding.

The curriculum is divided into two general areas: practical and theoretical. We will consider hiring a candidate who is only interested in teaching the practical part of the course, though prefer a candidate who wants to do both. 270 hours of the 500 course are practical.
